For successful configuration of the new part, it is necessary that:
- The device is erased in advance;
- OR you provide the screen unlock code;
This is important so the new part can be calibrated and the device can pass tests upon intake and before handover.
2. Backup:
We recommend having a recent backup:
- By yourself before bringing in the laptop.
- With us: We can create a backup for an additional fee.

For devices where the customer refuses to provide a code or allow erasing:
- No warranty is provided.
- The service center bears no responsibility for any hidden defects. Reason: Without access, it is impossible to perform the mandatory diagnostic tests before and after the repair.
