How do we replace a battery at Zeero?

Many repair shops use the outdated “controller transfer” (BMS) method, where the new cell is spot‑welded to the old electronics. This method is risky and can lead to short circuits, overheating, or loss of connection after an impact. At Zeero we use the modern, safe standard for repair:

Direct replacement and calibration

We use factory‑assembled complete batteries that the phone automatically recognizes through Apple’s automatic calibration process. After calibration, your iPhone immediately shows 100% Battery Health in Settings – with no errors or messages.

Three options for your new battery:

1. Original Apple batteries – the exact same battery your iPhone ships with from the factory.
2. OEM 1:1 batteries – a quality alternative with the same specifications at a better price.
3. High Capacity – on average 20% more capacity than the original.

Safety without compromise

We do not perform spot welding. We replace the entire battery with a brand new cell, and the old one is recycled. This eliminates the risk of fire, short circuit and damage to the phone. We do things exactly as they should be done, by the book.

Same-day express replacement in Sofia

Repairs are completed within the same day at our service center at 80 G.S. Rakovski St. Every battery is calibrated and undergoes a mandatory test before delivery. We operate every day of the week and provide a 6-month warranty.

After the repair, your device recognizes the new battery as fully compatible and removes all error messages.

Yes, we guarantee 100% Battery Health for all models, with calibration in the iOS system menu. Unlike repair shops that only replace the cell without programming, we use the official Apple calibration process.

First of all – at Zeero you have the option for a genuine, original Apple battery – the same one your phone shipped with from the factory. This is an advantage that almost no one offers.

Most repair shops often use the “spot welding” method (BMS transfer) to cut costs, which carries a risk of fire or damage to the phone.

At Zeero we perform a direct replacement with precisely programmed ready-made batteries, with no soldering. You can choose between:

  • OEM 1:1: Identical parameters to the original battery.
  • Original Apple battery.
  • High Capacity: Our specialized model with ~20% more capacity (mAh) for longer life on a single charge.

Repairs are usually completed within 1 business day, and if you book an appointment in advance, we offer an express service within 2 hours. Our service center is located in the center of Sofia at 80 G.S. Rakovski St. We are open 7 days a week for your convenience. Here you can also see all other repairs available for your iPhone.

With every repair at Zeero we install a new factory-grade seal for protection against moisture and dust. This ensures that your iPhone’s water resistance is restored according to Apple’s specifications – a critical step that is often skipped in cheap repairs.
