We open the phone, check for moisture, clean the board and components using a special technique, dry everything, and replace the seals with brand new ones. If no moisture has entered, we still replace the seal with a new one and close the phone back up, confident that everything is fine and there won't be problems in the future.
All phones have moisture indicators that immediately show where there has been contact with liquid, but we go several steps further and check every single part under a microscope. Even one drop can leave traces.
If there is no damage to the body—yes. We install a new seal with the same function as the original, restoring the protection. In fact, it's even better—for most older phones, the new seal protects better than the original, which has already worn out from moisture, sun, dust, and heat over the years.
